'Phobia'

Initial illustration for a book that depicts the neurosis and inhibitions common in our society. I wanted to create an image of menace and claustrophobia with surroundings that will envelop and stifle the central figure. This abstract figure's distorted body and limbs give it an instability and frailty that is associated with a phobia.
